Volunteering is the foundation of our community and it’s what makes Beech such a special place!

Volunteering is a great way to get out, make friends, build new skills and give back to your community. Volunteering genuinely makes a difference and it’s FUN!

We know that everyone is busy and very wary of taking on new commitments so rest assured we will not ask for more than you can give!

(There is no commitment of your time when you sign up… we just add you to the list of potential helpers who will get an email when we need help!)

How to volunteer?

Social Event Helper Help to serve food and clear up at social events, or flip burgers at barbecues and on Bonfire Night. We offer a free meal if you commit to helping out!	Bar Steward Be the friendly face that welcomes guests to our bar at socials, party’s and other events.. Serve drinks and process payments. Fancy dress is optional!	Burger Flipper Always in demand at our Summer events! Help us organise and run our BBQ’s!

Cake Curator Help us by preparing beautiful and delicious home made cakes for sales at the the Beech Coffee and Cake shop!	Coffee Grinder Help run the Beech Coffee and Cake shop by preparing fresh coffee and teas and serving our home made cakes.	Gunpowder Plotter One of the great traditions of Beech Village is our annual torch lit procession, fireworks and bonfire! There is a lot of preparation and coordination of a large team to make the event a success!

Audio Visual (AV) hero! Help run our film and theatre events by setting up and running our AV equipment	Fire Marshall Keep us all safe!	Green Guardian Help to keep our Village Green and Recreation Ground beautiful and tidy! Caring for our tress and plants! Dog poo monitor, dustbin putter outer, noticeboard monitor!
