Celebrations, Events and Meetings

Set in peaceful countryside but easily accessible from the major towns of Hampshire and Surrey, Beech Village Hall is a large, modern and flexible space ideal for hosting your celebration, event or meeting.

We provide a modern, dedicated, and flexible space for your event.

  • Our large private car park is attached to the Hall, enabling convenient access
  • We have our own village green with a children’s play area, so your guests can meet indoors and outdoors!
  • Our large Main Hall gives ample and flexible space for meeting and sharing
  • We have an integrated sound, PA and lighting system for dance and communication
  • Our commercial grade kitchen enables you or your caterer to prepare and serve great food!

So many people complimented the hall, things like what a beautiful space it was, how great the kitchen was, I particularly liked the lights that were hanging from the beams…   the notes about how the hall works were very helpful… The communication and everything has been brilliant too. Evening party package

Our standard Evening Party package has been carefully crafted to help ensure your party is a great success, priced at £275 (including VAT):

  • Hall and Lounge/Bar area from 1800 to 2300 on the day of the event plus 0900 to 1100 on the following day for tidying up
  • Our catering class kitchen
  • Our sound and lighting system.
  • Use of the village green and private car park

Daytime package

Our standard Daytime package to celebrate life events, priced at  £175 (including VAT):

  • Hall and Lounge/Bar area for five hours between 0900 and 1700
  • Our catering class kitchen
  • Our background sound system.
  • Use of the village green and private car park

Tailor made events

Alternatively, you can tailor our facilities to your specific needs with prices starting from £75 including VAT. Please allow sufficent time for setting up and tidying up.

The hall was perfect venue for holding the get together for dad's funeral, great kitchen and bar facilities.
There's a lovely green with a play area should you have children attending.
I'd strongly recommend enquiriing about local lady Sarah for any catering requirements, a great lady, so efficient,made the whole event effortless for us and food was perfect.

Wow what a venue! I independently hired this hall twice and both times I received fantastic feedback from my guests. The first event was my daughter’s 4th birthday party. The space was large enough for 30+ children and parents playing games and long trestle tables (supplied by the venue) for the food. The children had so much room to run around, and the parents were impressed with the amount of parking.

I booked the hall again for my 40th birthday in October. With a hired band, dancefloor, and photo booth, I needed a venue large enough to host the equipment but not too large that the room felt empty. It was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped for the food prep and the bar area was perfect for serving drinks, keeping the main hall separate for dancing. The built-in disco lights and fairy lights added an amazing feature and helped bring the ambience together. There are also plenty of chairs and tables.

Kim was fast to respond to any emails and queries. On the day I had an issue with the sound system, he fixed it within 10 minutes of my call which was fantastic and kept me stress free! I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hall again. Amazing value for money, clean, well equipped, and friendly communication.

We recently organized our 3-year-old's birthday party at the venue, which offers a variety of facilities including parking, a full kitchen, a lounge area, a garden, toilets, and coat hangers. However, we found that the men's restroom could benefit from some improvements, while the women's restroom was in much better condition.

On the day of the party, we encountered an issue with the newly installed music system, which was not functioning despite attempts by several individuals to troubleshoot. We ultimately contacted the person in charge, who responded promptly and was able to resolve the issue.
Overall it's a nice venue for small gatherings.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a massive thank you for the absolutely brilliant party at Beech Village Hall. It's definitely my favourite venue in the area and the setting is perfect for a disco party with lights and great sound system. I love the lounge area and the new furniture. The highlight this year was the photo slide in the corridor where guests could see old photos of their children and remember great memories of them.
Again, thank you, it was such a great time, and see you again one day!

Can I play music, have fireworks or use a drone on the village green?

Our hall is in a quiet country village adjacent to thatched cottages:

  1. We do not permit the lighting of fireworks due to the risk of fire.
  2. We restrict outdoor music and the use of drones.
    • Please email us at [email protected] if you would like approval for outdoor music or the use of drones.

 

 

Where are you?

Banner-Beech-SignBeech is just half a mile from the main A339 Alton to Basingstoke road from where it is clearly sign-posted, so it is very easy to find. The village is two miles from Alton in Hampshire. Our postcode is GU34 4AQ.

Hire of the Main Hall and Lounge/Bar

Friday or Saturday evening, 1800 – 2300

Please note that

·      Music, recorded or live, must cease and any bar close by 22:30

·      The premises including the car park, must be vacated by 23:00 hours.

  • Tidy up on Sunday, 0900 – 1100

Catering facilities

Use of all kitchen facilities. Includes cooker, microwave, heated cupboard, hot water dispenser, dishwasher & fridge / freezer

Up to 100 settings of dinner and dessert plates, cups, saucers, side plates and cutlery.

Sound & lighting

Evening dance package: Our in house music system with laser lights and haze (mist) provides the party ‘club’ experience and it could save you the outlay of hiring a DJ and or/their equipment.

Tables and chairs

  • 15 tables
  • 100 chairs

Please note:

  1. Hire charge excludes table and room decorations

A Security Deposit may be required to reserve the booking and will act as a security deposit to cover any losses or damages. The deposit will normally be returned within 10 working days after the event.

Further information:

Please note that the Hall is in a quiet village location, so it is important to minimise noise and disturbance. Our noise pollution monitoring system will switch the sound off if the levels are excessive. Music and alcohol sales must cease by 10:30pm and the premises must be vacated by 11pm except for clearing up.
