Everyone who lives in Beech is invited to contribute to our strong sense of community by becoming a Member of Beech Village Hall.
- We will keep you up to date with social events and film and National Theatre Live screenings in Beech and how the Village Hall is doing, and we will ask for your ideas and suggestions.
- You will receive AGM materials in advance by email.
- As an adult Member living in Beech, you will qualify for special rates when you hire the Hall for a wedding reception, private party or other event or meeting.
Membership is free and lasts for as long as you want it to.
If you don’t live in Beech, you are still welcome to join as an Associate Member and we will keep you up to date with activities at the Village Hall, but you won’t receive AGM notices and you won’t qualify for special rates when you hire the Hall.

How to volunteer
Volunteering is the foundation of our community and it’s what makes Beech such a special place! It’s a great way to make friends, build new skills and give back to your community, and it’s FUN! If you did not sign up to be a volunteer when you became a member and you’d like to do so now, please send us an email at feedback@beechvillage.org.uk or use the Contact Us form on this site.
Member rates for hiring the Hall
Your rates for our standard packages, which include everything you need for an event, including an appropriate rental period, plus the kitchen and sound and lighting systems and VAT, are:
- Wedding Reception Package: £950
- Evening Party Package: £225
- Children’s Party Package: £105
- Daytime Event Package: £150
Alternatively, Members can hire the Hall for between £10-20 an hour depending on the day of the week and time of day (minimum hire: 3 hours including setup and tidyup).
Members can hire The Wellhouse, formerly known as the Annexe, for £8.50 an hour, with reduced rates available for early mornings and late evenings.
How to hire the Hall as a Member
- Download the Member Guide to see full details of hiring options and prices.
- To check when the Hall is available and make a booking request, click or tap the “Book the Hall” button.
- Select the room you want to book
- Click on the + symbol next to the date you want
- (you will need to sign in or create a password if you do not already have one)
- Select the time you want
- In the Activity field, select which activity you want the hall for – Wedding Reception (Member), Children’s Party (Member), Evening Party (Member) or Afternoon celebration (Member).
- Our bookings team will then be in touch to confirm your reservation and any specific requirements you may have.
