This informal gardening club meets monthly to compare notes on our gardening experiences (good and bad), socialise with each other, and swap and sell plants, seeds, cuttings, magazines and books. The group aims to promote wildlife gardening and encourage pollinating insects and bees wherever possible.
This summer, we will be visiting some of the lovely gardens belonging to our members and having our usual teatime get-togethers. We have had to reduce our outings to local open gardens because there are very few gardens within easy reach that we’ve not already visited, a number of gardens are not opening any more, and our numbers often do not achieve the minimum necessary for a private booking. New members are welcome – just turn up and bring a small contribution for refreshment.
