The Roses (2025) 15
Dark Comedy
Director: Jay Roach
With Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman
Runtime: 105 mins

The Roses: Cumberbatch. Colman. Carnage.
Ivy and Theo Rose have the dream: successful careers, beautiful home, perfect marriage. Then Theo’s architecture career spectacularly implodes just as Ivy’s restaurant becomes a roaring success. Suddenly, their loving partnership ignites into all-out war- over the house, the kids, everything they built together.

A savagely funny reimagining of cult classic War of the Roses. Watch two of our greatest actors battle it out in a marriage where love and loathing become impossible to tell apart. Come along for the sharp dialogue, darker laughs, and a Valentine’s Day like no other.
This is what happens when “till death do us part” becomes a threat.

“Colman and Cumberbatch are sublimely well matched. We adore them as a couple almost as much as we enjoy them as the bitterest of foes.” The Observer

“A smart, wild, entertaining mix of droll British humour and glossy Hollywood film-making.” BBC
