We now have our new door to the Wellhouse installed with a new ‘smartlock’:
The new oak front door looks darker than we had intended but this is due to the ‘tratment’ required for warranty and we expect this will mellow.
We have all our internal doors fitted and they have shiny new handles….
We have also taken the opportunity to treat our exisiting Main Hall front doors to a good ‘sanding’ and treatment to prolong their lives:
Meanwhile we are at the ‘almost finished’ phase of the project….
The main room is just awaiting the second coat of paint on the walls… and the flooring…
This is week we plan to finish the plumbing and turn on the heating and then the final coat of paint and finishing touchs…. before we lay the floor on the 27th…. fingers crossed!
Finally, the rendering on the new external wall is complete and we now have our ‘garage store’ back, which means we can take down the marquee and reoccupy the store! It could do with a coat of paint…
