Our roof has now been re-felted… and you can now see the raised area where we will install a new skylight for the entrance area:
And the pitched roof to the rear has also been refelted along with new ridge tiles…
We still have 2 items to finish on the roofing:
- Guttering
- Installation of roof void vents
Internally, we now have our new windows fitted in The Wellhouse room, these are easier to open ‘safely’ and have trickle vents to improve ventilation:
And we have special insulation installed around the window sides or ‘reveals’:
We stil have work to do to complete the external wall insulation
Once this is complete we get the plasterers back to do the external wall rendering and the internal wall skim coat.
This coming week we have the plumbers booked fo first fit plumbing….
