Bonfire Night 2017

What a fantastic village event! The weather behaved, and even the moon also showed up over the fireworks display.

Thank you to the many volunteers who helped to make the evening a success. There is an amazing amount of work that goes into all this: the bonfire, the fireworks, the marshalling, the catering, the ticketing, the publicity…  Beech has a strong community spirit that means we can put together something complex like this event.

Join with friends and neighbours to celebrate Bonfire night is our usual style.
5:00pm Gather at Village Hall for tickets & torches
5:30pm Torch-light procession up Wellhouse Road to the Recreation Ground

Tickets £7 (adults) & £3 (under 16s)

If you have material to burn, please help us build the bonfire, following these rules:

Bring up any burning material on or after Saturday 21st October
Try to put it on top rather than the sides
Avoid fallen leaves, plastic, and painted wood.
Leave the two ends of the ignition tunnel clear

For safety reasons, once the pyre is big enough, there will be a notice requesting that no more material is added.

Thank you!
