Beech Christmas Fair 2016

The Beech Christmas Fair was held on Sunday 27 November at the Village Hall and was very well attended by local residents and their friends and relatives.  The stallholders came early and set up their stalls and what a colourful array they were – there is a gallery below of all of them.

The kitchen was manned by Jane Short and Nikki Tomalin and her enormous team of helpers, and they served up the most delicious bacon baps, mince pies, coffee, tea, cakes, flapjacks and finally mulled wine.  The smells emanating were absolutely enticing.

The doors opened for the public at 10.00am and business was brisk.  The show was finally over at 2.00pm and Nick Charman and Peter Cox and their wonderful team of helpers cleared the hall of all its tables and chairs.  All in all it was, once again, a most happy and successful event.  Well done Sally Cox for a great piece of organising.
