Renee’s Runners make it a close finish at Village Quiz Night!

A total of 76 quizzers in 9 teams pitted their wits at the Village Quiz night on 10th October.  Thanks are due to the Bembridge family, who came up with fascinating variety of questions to challenges all ages and intellectual interests.  They were posed by quizmaster John Bembridge and scores kept by wife Avril and sons Josh and Tom. It was close run thing throughout the evening, but in the end winning table Renee’s Runners just squeaked past Strong Arm Tactics by a couple of points to win the cup. Congratulations to both this year’s winners and runners-up, and everyone who came along, joined in and had a great laugh!  Special thanks go to John & Nikki Tomalin who worked so hard on the bar and organised fish and chips for everyone, and to the Coxes for organising tickets and Hall layout.  A really popular community event!
