Beech Village Show 2015

Entry forms now available for Beech’s 2nd Summer Show

Organised by the ‘Beech Gardeners’ – the BGs

BGs summer show ADVERT 2015 corinOn Saturday 19th September 2015 Beech Gardeners are putting on another Beech Village Show.  Enter your home-grown fruit, vegetables and flowers and win 1st, 2nd or highly commended certificates – or even BEST ENTRY IN SHOW.

There is a variety of classes for photography, painting, poetry, home-made food, craft, several children’s classes and a SCARECROW COMPETITION.

The Show opens at 12.00 noon but exhibits need to be brought to the Beech Village Hall between 9.00 and 10.00am on that day.

There will be 35 classes of entry and some especially for children, although they are welcome to challenge the adults in any class!!

You may enter all 35 classes if you wish but each person has to use their own entry form.  Entries cost 30p each and only one entry may be made in each class per person.  Entry forms must be submitted and entries paid for by Friday 11th September.

Judging will take place between 10.30am and 12.00 noon and all exhibits should have your name on but not visible to the judges (say, on a small card that can be placed face down on the display tables).  Where possible the varieties of home-grown produce should be named to assist the judges.

You may email your entry form but the form and the entry money needs to be in by 11th September to Sue Robinson, 49 Medstead Road, Beech OR to Helen Lamb, Highwood, Snode Hill, Beech.
