Launched in 2022, Bro-ga aims to get a million men moving—men who feel the effects of age with stiff backs, achy joints, and struggle with everyday movements like bending to tie their shoes or getting up off the floor. Our yoga classes are specially designed for men with little to no yoga experience, offering a welcoming space to stretch out, loosen up, and feel good.
Breaking Barriers, Building Community
We know most men don’t have many opportunities to socialize, and that’s why every class ends with a cold beer—an ideal time to catch up, share stories, and ‘chew the fat’ with your mates. We’re all about breaking the common misconceptions of yoga. No fancy gear needed—old t-shirts and baggy shorts are perfect. Everyone’s in the same boat, so no one feels out of place.
Get Started with Our 5-Week Trial Course
Try Bro-ga with our 5-week trial package and experience the benefits first-hand. Before you know it, you’ll be moving better, feeling stronger, and enjoying every moment of becoming a fully-fledged Bro.

Chair Yoga is a great way to experience all the benefits of yoga without getting up and down to the floor.
It’s great for all abilities no matter your physical limitations or challenges. It can be particularly beneficial for those with limited mobility, injuries, knee issues and those wanting to return to exercise in a gentle way.
We’ll be moving, strengthening and stretching with traditional yoga postures including sitting, standing, balancing and relaxation.
For more information please contact Charmian, a fully-qualified yoga teacher with additional teacher training in chair yoga (plus many more!)
Charmian is a Life After Cancer Coach and yoga teacher offering two distinct but deeply complementary pathways of support.
Through her coaching, she works with people who have reached the end of cancer treatment and found themselves asking who am I now? With warmth, intuition, and deep understanding -including her own lived experience of cancer – Charmian helps people find their new normal, rediscover what they want from life, and move forward with purpose and motivation.
Charmian’s yoga classes include dynamic Power Yoga and supportive Yoga for Beginners in the Main Hall – weaving breath-led movement and somatic awareness together, encouraging students to listen inward, honour what their body needs on the day, and deepen the connection between body and mind.
In the Wellhouse, she brings both pathways together – offering specialist 1:1 Yoga for Cancer, deeply restorative Yoga Nidra, and individual and group coaching for life after cancer.

Build strength, fitness and mental clarity and leave feeling great!
Sue has been practicing Yoga for over 25 years and loves it!
It has been so helpful in her own life and observed in many students, friends and family she has had the pleasure and privilege of teaching over the years.
In the book ‘How Yoga Works’, it is like seeds. We pass on the ancient wisdoms and traditions like sowing seeds and then the receiver will germinate and nourish the wisdoms in their own time, and see, feel and show the growth that results. How, and into what they bloom…….
She trained to teach it in 2013-5 with the Inner Yoga Trust 500 hour 3 year course, and has enjoyed keeping up many varied CPD since – live and on zoom for postures, mental health, sanskrit chanting, breathwork, relaxation and yoga nidra.
More recently she has also discovered the added magic of Qi Gong, and blends the 2 ancient traditions, practices and philosophies which are very complementary.
Both involve the combination (Yoga= union) of moving the body, calming the mind, and enhancing the life energy (prana/chi/qi) in us.
She likes to practice and teach out in nature whenever possible- the woodland, gardens and at the beach.

Yoga Flow with Sophie
I’m Sophie — a yoga teacher who loves helping people slow down, reconnect, and feel good in their bodies. I’ve never stepped off the mat feeling worse than when I got on, and that’s exactly why I teach.
Join me every Monday for a feel-good yoga flow designed to awaken your body, calm your mind, and leave you feeling grounded. We start with a gentle warm-up, then move into a flowing, breath-led sequence that builds warmth, strength, and fluidity while creating space through mindful movement and stretching. The class ends with a restful relaxation.
My classes combine grounding, gentle movement with flowing sequences that build a little heat — with options for everyone, and a touch of challenge if you like. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning to your mat, my aim is to leave you feeling calmer, stronger, and more like yourself.

If your mind rarely gets a chance to truly switch off, Yoga Nidra might be exactly what you need.
Unlike anything else, this ancient practice guides you into a state of deep conscious rest – where your body heals, your nervous system resets, and your mind finally finds stillness.
All you have to do is lie down and listen. No yoga poses required!
One session can leave you feeling more rested, more grounded, and more like yourself.
Join us once a month for a guided Yoga Nidra experience in The Nidra Nest – open to everyone, no matter your background or experience with yoga.
Last Sunday of each month, from 6-7pm
The Wellhouse, Beech Village Hall
Zoe Stone Wellness
My yoga journey began after the birth of my second daughter, when I was looking for a gentle way to return to exercise. What I discovered was far more than physical movement. Through yoga, I developed a deeper appreciation of the connection between mind, body, breath and soul.
Mental health is something I feel deeply passionate about. As someone who has experienced anxiety, I understand the importance of self-care and compassion. Nurturing our wellbeing allows us to live more fully and positively, creating a ripple effect within our communities.
I began teaching Hatha Yoga in 2017 after completing my 200-hour teacher training with Jill Jones, followed by a 40-hour Yin Yoga teacher training with Denise Barlow in 2018. I am also a Reiki Master, offering this complementary therapy from Pure Therapy Rooms, in Alton, to support healing and balance.
I am currently training to become a Personal Trainer, taking a holistic approach to women’s health by building strength, resilience and confidence alongside yoga.
My yoga classes are held on Thursdays 930-1030am (term time) in The Main Hall, beginners are welcome.
