Beech Lunch Club: Monthly
This is an opportunity for all ages to meet share news and make new friends, whilst enjoying a tasty seasonal home cooked meal

Beech Embroiderers: 2nd Saturday of alternate months, (see Diary for dates)
Beech Embroiderers meet six times a year for an enjoyable sewing day with like minded people. We meet from 10.00am to 4.00pm on the second Saturday of alternate months, beginning January, in Beech Village Hall. Members bring their own work which may be embroidery or other forms of needlework. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided, bring your own lunch.
All levels of ability are very welcome with experienced members happy to help when needed. These members also lead groups trying new ideas and techniques for those who wish to participate.

Alton Bridge Club: Mondays 7.15-10.30pm
The Alton Bridge Club (http://www.bridgewebs.com/alton) meets at Beech Village Hall every Monday (including Bank Holidays) to play duplicate bridge. We welcome visitors, especially youngsters, but before your first visit please contact any of the following who will be happy to answer any questions or try to arrange a partner if you are on your own:

We start playing promptly at 7.30 each evening Please arrive 15/20 minutes earlier to help with setting up the tables etc. Once we have started playing it is not usually possible to include late arrivals. We aim to finish by 10.30 p.m.
- Monday nights welcome players who are moving from lessons to playing Duplicate for the first time, which means that less experienced players are particularly encouraged to come and play.
- There is a £3.00 table money charge per session for visitors and £2.00 for members. Annual membership is £12.00 per year. We have special reduced terms for youngsters and students.
- The Alton Bridge Club is affiliated to the English Bridge Union.

A friendly bridge club for students, novices and newcomers to duplicate bridge. The morning will consist of duplicate practice. The club is run by an English Bridge Union Professional Teacher and she will be at hand to give advice when necessary.
- We play approximately 18 pre-set hands.
- Copies of the hands are available after the session.
- Advice and guidance on bidding and play.
- No need to bring a partner, partner guaranteed.

Toddler Sense Classes – Adventurers (2-4year old) 9:30 – 10:20, New Explorers (13months to 2 years) 10:40 – 11:25. Toddler Sense is an action packed adventure play program encouraging development through themed activities and imaginative experiences.
Baby Sensory Classes – Babies from 7-13 months – 12:30 – 1:30pm; Babies from Birth to 6 months – 2.00pm until 3.00pm. Award-winning baby development classes designed to support your baby’s sensory development throughout their important and amazing first year.
Dance and laugh your way to fitness with BODY MOVES. It’s FUN. It encourages you to MOVE and think in a way that gives you an EFFECTIVE WORKOUT of mind and body. There are no targets, no criticism, no pressure, no minimum standard of fitness or dancing ability required.
The physical and mental health benefits of regular exercise are numerous so come along and enjoy a variety of music, make new friends and just de-stress for an hour. Join us anytime; your first class is FREE, then pay weekly (£5.50). Classes are also held at Medstead Village Hall (Tues 6 – 7 pm) and Alton Community Centre (Weds 10.00 – 11.00am).
