BGs Visit Hinton Ampner – October 2017

October 6, 2017 by Ann Bishton

Eight of the Beech Gardeners gathered for an outing to Hinton Ampner on a very sunny early October afternoon.  We drove there in 2 cars and walked around the gardens sniffing the roses, admiring the dahlias, and puzzling over what the beautiful shrubs were called.  Unfortunately we did not have Sheila with us as she is a fountain of knowledge where naming plants is concerned.  Below is a gallery of some of the beautiful flora and fauna we came across, unfortunately very few of them are named but we are hoping Sheila will help us out.

We then had tea and cake or cream teas which were absolutely delicious before weaving our way back home again.  Another successful outing for the BGs.
