News from St Peters – August 2016
We hope you are enjoying the Summer with time to relax and refresh. We welcome Chris Bradish (our new curate) , Naomi and their two children to the Parish and Lynn Power as an Assistant Priest. We hope to see them in Beech soon at one of our services and events.
Services.
First Sunday of the Month: 9.15 am Cafe Church is going to be replaced with Morning Worship which will include a short presentation by a member of one of the parish organisations who will explain what the group or charity does and we will all be encouraged to pray for this work and support in any ways we can.
September – Home Start. October – Beech Garden Club /harvest. November – School Governor. December – Parish Council (provisional).
Second and Third Sundays: 9.15 am Parish Communion
Fourth Sunday : Songs of Praise at 5pm (during the summer months) or 4pm (during the winter months) …please continue to support this with suggestions of hymns , readings and songs of your choice (refreshments are available after the service).

The Lunch Club.
Held once a month on the second Monday of the month 12.30 – 2pm. We have held four lunches in the village hall so far with around 30 each time. Grateful thanks to all who help with this!! We welcome anyone who has the time and we will continue to share a seasonal and varied meal.
Young Families / Youth.
We welcome young Families to Teddies at St Lawrence Church on Monday morning or Thursday Morning at the Church of the Holy Rood, Holybourne.
The Covenant Youth Choir is very active and all interested should contact Joy Windsor (83746) or Fay Myward (83898)
