On Saturday 1st March, in beautiful, Beech Village Hall from 11 to 1pm there will be a Macmillan Coffee Morning, with demonstrations by professional cake decorator, Karen Hawkins. Karen will demonstrate (each half hour) how cupcakes can be decorated and presented as a ‘Bouquet of Flowers’. Tickets cost £5, which includes a hot drink and a slice of cake.
During this event there will be a Tombola, Tree of Success (for people to add a success note), ladies stall, auction of the ‘bouquets’ and other fun ways to spend some money whilst knowing it’s going to a very worthwhile charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. Wear some ‘green and be seen’ to show your support, we want this to be a fun and happy time!
We would be very grateful to any volunteers who could please help with this event, or make labelled cakes for us to sell. Also, we’d be delighted to receive any of your unwanted gifts for our tombola/raffle.
Bring your friends and join us for the 3 ‘C’s, coffee, cake and chatter and lets help raise much needed money for the 1 in 3 of us that will sadly get cancer at some time in our lives; and who’ll be grateful for the support of the wonderful Macmillan nurses.
Please call Helen on 82323 for tickets and information regarding help and where to leave gifts, cakes etc.
THANK YOU for Your Support!
