 . The Scotsman gives them five stars. On Sunday 6 December the trio bring 
 their Share the Light winter tour to Beech for just 65 of us. Tickets are 
 £16.50 until 15 November. Our last gig left people on a very long waitlis
 t\, so do book early.\n\nMusic this good\, this close\, doesn't come round
  often.\n\nSalt House\n\nSalt House have been a mainstay on the folk scene
  for over a decade\, known as thoughtful\, innovative interpreters of both
  ancient ballads and contemporary songs. Five studio albums with Hudson Re
 cords and extensive touring across the UK and Europe. FolkNotes calls them
  “the most human and gentle music you could imagine” and gave their la
 test album Scarrow 10/10.\n\nEwan MacPherson\, Jenny Sturgeon and Anna Hug
 hes sing together and play guitars\, fiddle\, viola\, keys and harmonium\,
  a sound shaped by the landscapes of the Scottish Highlands\, Northumberla
 nd and Shetland\, their respective homes.\n\nNew songs that sound like the
 y've always been here\, ancient ballads woken up. Poems given melodies the
