About Neighbourhood Watch

Although the level of crime in Beech is very low with only minor incidents, in the view of the Police, these incidents can be distressing for those involved, and therefore we run a very active Watch system to help protect our community.

There are 16 local coordinators who meet 3 times a year and each one liases with about 15 houses in their localities. The Parish Council provides some funding for activities and supports the Watch.

Our method of communication is usually by the occasional flyer, phone and word of mouth, but the preferred method is by Email as it is very efficient. If you are connected and prepared to use this method then we would be obliged to receive your Email address, that will be used for no other purpose than the Watch. The main objective is communication to help the Police apprehend and create an atmosphere where people are alert and villains do not see Beech as an easy option. Please contact us if you have any further questions.
